Job Summary:
We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Showroom Sales Representative to help drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience in our Carhartt showroom. This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and presenting premium workwear, outerwear, and lifestyle apparel. This includes jackets, bibs, pants, boots, hoodies, gloves, and accessories.
The right person enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is comfortable working toward sales goals while representing a trusted, hardworking brand built for durability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Seek out and develop new sales opportunities within the showroom.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with both new and returning customers.
- Showcase products and explain technical features such as insulation, weather resistance, durability, and fit in a clear, engaging way.
- Work toward and consistently meet individual and team sales goals.
- Stay informed on workwear trends, seasonal products, and competitor activity.
- Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial engagement to final purchase.
- Assist with visual merchandising, product displays, and showroom organization.
- Help customers build complete outfitting solutions, including layering systems, outerwear, and accessories.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams on promotions, launches, and seasonal transitions.
- Step in to support other departments or responsibilities as business needs shift.
Qualifications:
- Full-time availability, working Friday through Tuesday.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable recommending products, upselling, and closing sales.
- Knowledge of workwear, outdoor apparel, or construction-related gear preferred.
- Ability to understand customer jobsite needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Adaptable and willing to take on different tasks or roles when needed.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
