About the Job
We have a vacancy in our team for a janitor to work at the Silver Lake Mall. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking great. To work well in this role, you should have janitorial experience.
Janitor Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean doors and windows.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
- Collect and dispose of trash and cardboard.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
- Water plants.
- Use floor cleaning equipment.
Janitor Requirements:
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well when supervisors are not present.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Cleaning and other janitorial work.
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
- High school diploma.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
Schedule:
Sunday – Tuesday: 2pm-8pm
